The 10th Kalam Youth Summit will have many distinct features in comparison to the earlier summits. We felt that this time around it is necessary to fuse both the groups together to yield much better result. The system cannot yield maximum results until both the groups, vis-à-vis the youth and the implementers are encouraged to come together to enrich their expertise and share their knowledge. The 10th Kalam Youth Summit will provide such platform which can help both these groups to excell.
The summit will inspire the audience and challenge them to think differently. The summit will be a platform dedicated to innovation and creative action in various fields like Education, Health, Science and Technology, Women Empowerment, Science & Technology, Democracy, Polity, Youth Empowerment, Social Upliftment etc., where top decision makers will share insights with on-the- ground practitioners.
The 10th Kalam Youth Summit, is scheduled in the month of October, 2024. KYS-2024 is being jointly organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Research Foundation, Social Empowerment Society, in association with Navi Arthkranti Mumbai.
KYS is a platform for the Leaders and Development Professionals to connect with the Future of this nation – the Youth. It seeks to transform the outlook of young minds for their involvement and access in social and rational causes. It helps to nurture the dreams and aspirations of young and resurgent faces of the state, for strengthening the foundation of youth as a whole. The event will be graced by, Young Public Representatives, Social Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Activists, Film- Directors/Actors, Sports stars, Authors, Potential Global Leaders, Corporate Leaders, Media Professionals.
Participants
The participants for the summit include Youth Delegation Representing different parts of the nation, Public Representatives, Policy Makers, Bureaucrats, Development Professionals, Eminent Personalities and Young Achievers, School/Colleges students from different states. Thus it is a unique opportunity for leaders, achievers and opinion makers to interact with the budding talent and energy of the youth and together ideate over the future of this nation and the upliftment of the world.
The students will be selected through KTSE 2024 conducted in the School/College/University either through online mode. The students will be given a MCQ/Essay paper to solve which will cover topics from General Science, General Knowledge, Social Science, History and Geography. The best performing students will be shortlisted and they will be invited to be a part of the summit. Out of these selected students only 3 students will be selected by the organizing committee for the “Youth Ratna” award. A certificate and prize will be awarded to each “Youth Ratna” Few of those who have done exceptional work in the fields of Art, Science, Sports, Education, Entrepreneurship, Social Service, etc. will be given “Kalam Achievers Award”.
Road beyond the Summit
After the completion of the event the participants will be divided in various sub groups according to their field of interest. These groups will prepare an action plan which will be sent to those whom it may concern. The focus of these groups will be to find out innovative solutions to the problems facing the society.
