General guidelines for abstract submission:

A structured abstract is required to be organized into the following sections:

Title

Author list (Author and co-authors) (including the presenting author who contributed directly to the work)

Institution (Full address of the institution must be provided)

Aims and Objectives

Materials and Methods

Results

Conclusion

• In general, original research, important new observations, and other presentations that represent substantial work with demonstrable results are appropriate for scientific presentations.
• Please ensure that your abstract is properly structured with correct spellings and grammar.
• Submissions that are not in the prescribed format will not be entertained.
• Do not submit the same abstract for the scientific proffered paper/p-poster/e-poster presentation, as this will cause duplicate submissions.
• No changes in the abstract contents and the authorship will be allowed after the final submission.
• All presenters should be registered for the conference however, registration for conference does not guarantee, acceptance of abstract.
• Isolated single cases will be given less priority, unless they are extremely rare or of exceptional teaching value.
• Abstracts can be submitted online through www.kys.kalamfoundation.org
• Participants submitting the abstracts through e-mail should mark under the subject of the e-mail ‘For proffered paper / p-poster / e-poster presentation’.
• The word limit for abstract is 3000 words only.
• No case presentation will be taken for proffered paper presentation.
• The abstracts submitted by residents (JR/SR) should be duly forwarded through the senior faculty of the department.
• If you wish to withdraw your abstract, you must inform the scientific committee by e-mail.
• Last date for abstract submission for oral/poster is 15th October, 2025.
• Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and the presenting author will receive intimation of acceptance by e-mail till 25th October, 2025.
